A mei mei for me!!!

From day 1 I have been calling the baby inside mummy's tummy as mei mei even before her gender was known. Now mummy is into her 24 weeks of pregnancy, and Dr Chu has confirmed the baby is a mei mei. Yay!!!

Mummy and daddy have some concern on how I will respond or accept the arrival of a sibling, who will share with me their love and time. They hope that I can learn to be more independent so they planned to send me to a toddler class before the arrival of mei mei. They have visited a handful of child care which are nearby Yi Po's place and mummy's work place.

Last Friday they visited a school and after talking with the principal of the school, they feel it might be too disruptive for me if they put me to school now and a few months later put me at home for one or two months during mummy's confinement. So now they plan to only put me to school after mummy's confinement and maybe after I am a bit older. Meanwhile, mummy is waiting for the call from the Pat's schoolhouse nearby our place to start me with once a week d'storey club to let me get used of the idea of school.

As for mei mei, Yi Po's neighbour (who lives a few units from Yi Po) has agreed to take care of mei mei! Mummy and daddy are very happy and relief to know that, as that will solve a big headache of finding a trusted babysit or good infant care for mei mei, plus I will have more time to spend with her since the babysitter's house is very near to Yi Po's. :)
