Xi has started self feed herself porridge and other food many weeks back and is getting better in self feeding, though I still need to feed her at the same time to "speed up" her feeding time and clear the debris lying around her eat area after each meal. Even when we eat out, she will insist to have her own bowl and spoon. She will say "Xi bowl bowl" and will be angry and refuse to eat if we did not give her one.
Bag Lady
Xi is a bag lady, or rather a bag gal! She loves carrying bags (not by hands, but on shoulder like an aunty), be it plastic bag, paper bag or tote bag. Everytime she saw us carrying stuff, she will want to "help" to carry for us, especially when she saw the bag is small and assumably light enough for her to carry. Smart gal, she won't offer to carry heavy stuff though. Hehe...
She saw this bag from a shop and refused to return!
Books In the Car
We bought some books and put in our car for Xi to occupy her time in the car, since everyday she spends almost 2 hours in the car. If i drive, I will put one or two books near her so that she can flip and "read" the books during the journey. Her three favourites are Hi-5 animal song book, a teddy bear book and a gal gal book for potty training. There is also a word book which she can recognise and say out the names of most of the objects in the book, and there is a Gossie book and a few finger fun books. If her daddy drives, i will sit beside her, ask her to choose a book and read for her.
Looking serious reading my magazine
Kek Sai

Guess what Xi was doing in the pictures above? She was trying to poo... Guess it right? :) This gal still not ready for toilet trained, and whenever she is trying to poo, she will go to one corner, standing there, and do her big biz there. During that period of time, no interference is allowed.

Books in the car is such a great idea, why didn't I ever think of it?
Soph is simply tired of her toys in the car, so yes, I'll start putting some books in there :)
Yes, huskie, rather than doing nothing during the 1 or 2 hours, though sometimes she just prefer to look at the scenery outside. :)
