Today mummy is on replacement leave for Hari Raya and daddy worked from home, so three of us are at home together. Initially mummy and daddy wanted to go Ikea in the afternoon. But it was raining, so they decided to stay at home watch dvd - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. While they watched, i slept on a mattress in the living room.
When approaching evening, daddy and i lied on the bed whilst mummy busy here and there. How come she doesn't want to carry me? I want mummy to carry me! "Ma"!!! Did I call "Ma"???
Mummy and daddy were equally surprised! And mummy is obviously pleased to think that I said my first word which is "Ma"! But then she continued to busy with herself! Then again i called out "Ma"??? This time mummy put aside whatever she was doing and immediately picked me up from the bed and kissed me. :)
My Visit to Botanic Garden and IMM
14 October 2007 (Sunday)
This morning, Da Yi and Da Yi Zhang brought us to Botanic Garden for breakfast. This is my first visit to Botanic garden, as well as mummy and daddy. The adults had breakfast at the foodcourt. Mummy put me in a high chair and gave me Baby Bites. Yummy yummy! I like! :)
Then we went walking around the garden. It was almost 11am and the weather is getting hotter. I was sitting in the stroller and dare not look up as the sun is too glaring and i can't open my eyes.
Da Yi and Da Yi Zhang said I am too fair, and should go out more often to expose to sun. We left botanic garden shortly as they saw me was perspiring and looks tired.
On the way home i slept on Da Yi's shoulder. When back to home, mummy quickly went fix my meal - 4 tsp of rice cereal + 1 cube of parsnip + 1 cube of apple. But i have no appetite as still full after having the baby bites. So mummy had to throw away most of the food. So wasted...
After i had my meal, we went to IMM. Mummy and daddy bought a fan and a Braun blender cum chopper from Best Denki and shopped at Giant. While waiting for daddy and Da yi zhang to collect the fan and the chopper from Best Denki before we went home, i pooooo in the stroller. A massive poo some more. And the poo dirtied my romper. Mummy quickly carried me to the baby room. In the baby room, we saw a mother was feeding her baby from a bottle. Mummy a bit paisei as my poo poo is so smelly and the mother was feeding the baby. But no choice. She quickly put me on the changing table which was soooo cold! I was frightened and refused to lie on the changing table so I cried SOOOOO loudly!!! Mummy a bit panic as she can't find any toilet paper in the room and the wipes she brought only left a few pieces. So she has to leave me crying on the changing table and ran to the lady to get toilet paper. Luckily daddy came in in time. He happened to pass by as he went Best Denki to collect our stuff and heard a baby crying. He thought the baby cry is very familiar and reckon the cry is from me so come in to see. Luckily he came in and quickly help mummy to clean me up and change for me. I cried and cried throughout and in front of so many people (after we finished then realise there is a long queue behind waiting to use the changing table).

We woke up to a beautiful morning! See how happy i was:
After the bathe, daddy and mummy put me on the Yellow Bear bumper playmat mummy bought from Smallsmallworld. Daddy gave me a piece of gerber star biscuit, then put the bottle at the other end of the playmat. The gerber star is yummy!!! I wanted somemore so i crawled quickly to reach the bottle:
Daddy and mummy were very pleased to see me crawling as I first time crawl in front of them. After a few crawls, i sweated so much, but i got to eat my biscuit so i very happy. :) More pictures with my new bumper playmat:
In the afternoon, we went back to JB. Before going to Popo's house, we went to Friday Restaurant for food. Daddy and Mummy love the brownie here. Too bad the brownie was out of stocks. Anyway, we have a great lunch and I was in a really good mood, maybe due to the relax ambience there. :)

Mummy's birth story of me:
26/2/07 midnite: Mummy was surfing net with daddy then suddenly felt very upset that I did not want to come out yet (my EDD is on 26/2/2007) and she scolded me wif tears :( Mummy was anxious as daddy was flying off to China two days later! Daddy was very surprised at mummy's sudden outburst. He quickly hugged and consoled mummy and told mummy not to scold me like that again. Inside mummy's tummy, I heard her scolding and felt her upset. So I decided enough time inside mummy's tummy already. :)
27/2/07
7am: Mummy woke up in the morning and felt a sense of disappointment. How come last nite no contraction? Daddy was leaving tomorrow. Will I come out before daddy left? Mummy went toilet to pee, and surprised to see blood gushing out with the urine. This must be it rite? Mummy thought. She quickly put on a pad, thinking whether to wake daddy up now or later but daddy woke up oredi. So she told him. Both got really excited. Then he scolded mummy with a smile that must be due to mummy's scolding last night that's why as a good girl I listen to mummy and wanted to come out.
7.30am: Mummy and daddy decided to wake up and log on internet to settle some work matters before admitted to hospital. Daddy went to buy breakfast and prepare to leave to hospital.
11am: Finally left home but mummy did not feel much contraction yet.
11.30am: Reached hospital. Nurse checked and said only 1cm dilated so asked mummy to be warded to monitor. Mummy was contemplating whether to be warded so soon since she did not feel much contraction but decided to listen to the nurse. Mummy warded to the 1-single bed ward.
12noon-5pm: Nothing happened. Doctor Chu came to check. Still 1cm dilated. Mummy was very disappointed so she asked for doctor's permission to "check out" of hospital temporary to go shopping at Plaza Pelangi which is opposite the hospital. She hope shopping will help speed up the contraction.
5.50pm: Mummy began to feel the pain at the lower abdomen area, similar to menses pain. Pain comes in 20 minutes interval, then 15 then 10 minutes.
8pm: Back to hospital after having dinner with daddy outside. Contraction was by then 5 minutes interval but still bearable.
10.30pm: Daddy left for home to pack his stuff for his trip next morning. So mummy went took shower and wash hair in her ward. Suddenly she felt a gush of water coming out! Waterbag finally broke! She quickly informed the nurse. Nurse checked only 2cm dilated, not so soon. Mummy sms daddy but asked him no need to rush back hospital yet.
12am: Pain becomes intense and unbearable. So mummy listened to nurse's advice to take injection for pain killer. She felt drowsy after that but still can feel the pain.
28/2/07
2am: The pain become unbearable (i want to come out!!!) so mummy quickly call for the nurse. Nurse checked. Stil only 3cm dilated. She asked mummy not to push yet.
2.30am: The urge to push was getting too strong. Mummy called nurse again. This time was assisted to the delivery ward immediately. 9cm dilated! But nurse said still cannot push as doctor was not in yet. She asked mummy quickly called daddy to come. Mummy was asked to breath deeply.
2.45am: Super duper pain and drowsy due to the pain killer and the urge to push but was asked not to push was too much for mummy... Mummy kept telling nurse she cannot tahan oredi. When can she push?
3am: Finally allowed to push!!! Mummy push and push and finally can see my hair. Doctor Chu and daddy reached. Mummy pushed harder and harder.
3.30am: I am finally out to greet this world!!! Weight: 2.94kg and Height: 51cm. Nurse washed me and put me to baby ward.
4am: Daddy left hospital to Singapore catch his flight, after snapping some photos of me.

I Finally Crawwwwl!!!
Hei, I finally learn how to crawl yesterday!
I put my left hand below my tummy and right hand to reach out in front to crawl. Mummy said my way of crawling very funny. But she is so happy that I finally start crawling! She was worried I will skip crawling to walking as she think i can learn the coordination skill better from crawling!
So far I can only crawl on the bumper playmat mummy bought for me. Bare floor is too hard on me so I scare...
Mummy hope I can start playing hide and seek with her soon. :)

My Name is Choi Yunxi. I was borne on the last day of February 2007 - 28 February 2007. You can call me Xiao Xi. Mummy likes to call me Ah Xi and Daddy likes to call me Xiao Zuzu as I was borne in the year of piggy. :)
I am 7 months old and 1 week. And my last weight was 8.7kg at 7 months.
