My First Road Trip to KL/Kuantan
We went to KL and Kuantan on 21-23 March 2008, during the Good Friday holiday.
This was my first long road trip and mummy was excited about it. To ensure I have healthy and nutritient food for the trip, mummy bought a rice cooker and a thermal food flask, and bring along some ikan bilis and carrot to cook porridge for me during the trip.
Mummy woke up early on 21/3 to cook my porridge for the day before we set off the journey from JB. It took us 3.5 hours to reach our KL hotel - Novotel KL. Mummy and daddy were delighted that the hotel gave us a high floor room at their business club and are pretty satisfied with the room provided. After putting the luggage inside our room, we started our shopping!
The new KL Pavilion is just within walking distance opposite our hotel. It is new and spacious. As it was a working day in KL, it was not so many people and i have lots of space to "walk".... by holding on to mummy and daddy's hands. I walked so much and walked so happily and refused to sit inside the stroller.
We didn't bought much from the shopping as mummy feels the prices are so much higher than what she can buy online (ya... mummy is addicted to online shopping nowadays, which offer her more variety of stuff with lower price without having had to go out physically to shop!!!). Mummy saw a dress which she bought for me from a bulk purchase in sg forum which cost her S$15 cost RM117 in the boutique in KL!
Next day we checked out hotel at about 11am and set off to our next destination - Kuantan! This was mummy's first trip to Kuantan. The trip took longer than expected as on the way we de-tour to other towns to satisfy daddy's curiosity. We reached Kuantan finally at 2.30pm. We had a quick shop in the megamall where mummy bought some pork bone to cook porridge for me, and some mineral water.
The Swiss Garden Resort & Spa which we stays is spacious with a private balcony overlooking the South China Sea. We went for a walk at the beach when it was not too hot. But as scare as sun for me, i dread the idea of stepping on the beach and holding on to mummy and daddy tightly! See my worried look....
We had a sumptuous dinner at the garden terrace restaurant of the hotel. Mummy gave me some pudding and bread to eat. Yummy!
Next morning after we had our buffet breakfast, mummy and daddy brought me to the swimming pool for my first real dip! Oh my... I dread water!!! Daddy carried me to the pool and after a few dips with me crying bitterly, mummy decided to bring me up. Mummy wonder when will be the day when i will overcome my fear on water and love swimming...

Terrific Tikes Trial Class
Mummy brought me to the Terrific Tikes Trial Class on 23/2/08. The class is not fantastic, but mummy and I got to meet a lot of babies of my age and their pretty mummies. I was quite shy throughout the class and hold on to mummy tightly.
Taking Instructions
I can understand simple instructions now.
When mummy holds out her hand asking me to pass her socks. I will pick up a sock lying on the floor and pass to her.
When mummy/daddy ask for my pillow, i will hug my beloved pillow tightly to prevent them from snatching my pillow away.
When they snatch my pillow or my daisy bear away, i will snatch back from them.
When mummy asks me whether i am full while feeding me, i will pat my tummy happily to show i am full.
When mummy asks me whether the food is nice, i will clap my hands happily!
I also can take instructions when mummy asks me to lie down, to sit down, to pick up things from the floor and go find my bear bear and/or pillows.
However, when mummy asks me not to bite my fingers or toes, not to open drawers or touch the rubbish bag, or not to throw things everywhere, i still do!!! ;p

I Love Music!!!
I love music!!!
Whenever i hear music, be it from radio, tv ads, cd, i will shake my body by moving my shoulder to the left and right. Mummy said i am like dancing Indian dance!
Whenever i woke up middle of the nite, mummy will on the children's songst to calm me down.
Whenever i becomes cranky in the car rides, mummy will sing for me, and i will quiet down immediately.
Mummy hope i will continue to love music, and learn to appreciate music. She wishes to buy a piano soon so that in the future we can play music together. :)

Constipation
These few weeks, i have difficulty to poo!!! I feel so painful each time when i wanted to poo and when i finally managed to poo out, it is big and hard. It was so painful that i cried and has a phobia to poo... Yesterday i poo until bleed and Yi Po was so heartache to see me pooing until cry, and so shocked when she saw the blood. This was my 2nd time poo until bleed. Luckily later in the afternoon when i pooed again, this time it was soft and not as painful.
Mummy and daddy suspect my constipation is due to change of formula milk from Nan HA1 to Nan2. Daddy told mummy should switch my fm slowly instead of directly switch. They bought prune juice for me yesterday. Mummy kept telling me to drink more water (as i don't like plain water and won't want to drink unless i am really thirsty) so that I can poo more easily...

This morning mummy woke up and saw you sleeping peacefully beside me, mummy was amazed at how fast time flies, and how much you have grown over the past year! Last year this day you were just borne, and mummy was trying to breastfeed you for the first time. You were so tiny then, less than 3kg.
So much of hardwork and sleepness nights for the past year since you were borne, but these are nothing compared to when you look at me with your sweetest smile knowing that i am your mummy; nor when you lie fondly on my shoulder; nor when you open your arm widely impatiently waiting for me to carry you.
This morning inside the car when mummy drove you to Yi Po's house. You did not sleep for the entire 40 minutes journey. Mummy was worried you would get cranky half way the journey, but surprisingly you did not! You sat in your carseat quietly, listening to the music from 92.4FM. When heard some music you like, you will clap your hands. Mummy looked at you from the front mirror and suddenly felt how grown up you are! As if you understand what we say and try to communicate with us using your language! And that you know mummy is driving so you should not cry and disturb mummy!
Our little angel, gone are the days when mummy and daddy can have peaceful meals; gone are the days when we can travel whenever we like; gone are the days when mummy can go facial or shop freely and without worry. There is not a single day past since having you without mummy thanking god for giving you to mummy and daddy and praying you healthy and safe.
Mummy and daddy wish that you will grow up to be a happy, healthy and well mannered girl, with courage and confidence.
